Whats On Your Work Wednesday 90#

Hello everyone! Yet another Wednesday Desk Hop! It dose come round quick sometime eh? Today on mine is, Prima's Lost & Found Stamp set I have been having a play around with. The stamps are not big, so its nice to use a few on one design I though. I have Distressed the piece with Tim Holtz Ink Pads in Antique Linen & Tattered Rose, two of my personal faves & finished the edges with Timber Browm StazOn. I embossed the Dress form Stamp with Cosmic shimmers Coco Brown embossing powder & finished off with a sprinkle of Browm fine glitter while it was still hot. I also used some of the Cavallini &Co Tim set of "Bonjour" stamps too, love that set!

Here are some goodies I treated myself too at theCraft Show at Manchester Central on the 4th February. I love the peels off that are the glittery gears! 6 sheets for a £5 pretty good I though. As was the Tim Holtz Distress pad £3.50, wished I would have got more at that price now! I always buy myself a Craftwork Cards Goody Bag as the Value is second to non! Its crammed with stuff for a mere £10'er! I decided to go for a punch around the page punch set, although I did not get the one I wanted :( Still I think the one I ended up with is pretty nice! I have been meaning to get a Krylon Gold leaf pen for ages, my Friend Phil actually sold me on them after he showed me the edging results on card-stock & how shiny it looked, my eyes glazed over :) I also picked up a little 1 1/2 inch scalloped punch I have searched for ages!!! Was chuffed at that find. Theres also a Marianne corners die, that looks fantastic cut out of foil & used with alcohol inks, for an aged look. And another corner type die by Joy Crafts, thats about 4inches long. The Tim Holtz Fragments were another want on my list as was the foil tape! There will be results of some of this in the next few weeks I hope! All in all a good day out! However I have heard that it will be the last Craft show at Manchester Central and the next one will be at the Trafford Center in September!

Finally though I would show you a Thank You Card I made for a Relative In Canada. She rang to say she was chuffed with it and said she was going to put it in a frame on the wall!!!! I did giggle a bit at that, but still it made her happy, shes the most Spritley 90 year old woman I have ever know! Shes a true English Eccentric too, makes me laugh, shes fab! Check this out she celebrated my card with a few Glasses of wine with her buddies & had to be carried to bed! Puts me to shame, one glass and I am yawning! Anyway I used lots of different stash for this one, including Rub On's, Peel off's, DCWV Luxury Cardstock, Digi print outs of the Boot & Postcard images, distress inks and some liquid pearls. All in all I think it turned out ok!
Well going to try get some sleep after I post this. Its been a long day trying to sort out Blogger problems. Its my first time posting using Google Chrome as I was advised it was ok to use with Blogger & its got a spell checker on, Yeh!!! Anyhow lets see how it looks when posted! Take care everyone & Happy Whats On Your Work desk Wednesday!!!

Great tip using the glitter on an embossed image, will have to give that a go. Love your new goodies, I have that exact same yellow punch and I have that punch around the page set too! That's a beautiful card, not surprised your relative wants to frame it, she sounds like a hoot doesn't she!!

I'm starting to wonder if you're even worse than me when it comes to new stash!! You've picked up some ace things there. Plus you can always count of the craftwork cards goodie bags, they are simply brilliant. I'm sure I'll pick one up at the craft show on Harrogate in March. And if the show you went to will move to the Trafford Centre, I'll be tempted to add that to my calendar too!

Your relative in Canada sounds cool! If I reach that age I want to be like her!!

I just bought a punch around the page set from qvc when they had all that Martha Stewart stuff last week. Not actually tried the two punches together yet - perhaps we can compare our efforts?!

Hope you're having a nice week so far. Tickles to Mr Binxz. Oh and I forgot to say last week, if you like French Bulldogs, you should check out Boston Terriers too - they're cute in an ugly kinda way also !

Funnily enough, I happen to be going to get my hair straightened tomorrow! One of those Brazilian Keratin treatments, that I got for a bargain through Groupon.co.uk. I'll let you know how it goes!

Ooo yes, Chanel lippies are divine, I'm with you on that one.

By the way - is that Mr Binxz in your second photo??!

I am terribly late in posting on your woyww for last week. Thought I had got around to everyone ... oops.
The card you have made is beautiful, I love all the details you have added. No wonder your relative wants to frame it. I also like all you goodies from the craft fair. Especially the punches and inks. In OZ we pay 3 times what you have paid for the distress inks makes me want to fly to the UK.
