Its been a while!....but I have been doing this!

How much fun is this card! I really love to do something a bit different and I saw this lovely"Kanban Frou Frou" kit on QVC a few weeks ago & though I would try it! I must say the quality is second to non & the card stock is really beautiful! I have made a few cards with it but though I would show this lovely quirky wardrobe, with its front & inside! Pretty colours a cute Boudoir Chic girly card!

These are some free stamps that came with my copy of Simply cards & Papercraft magazine. I decided to give the Pro Markers a go colouring them & thought they ended up looking ok! I used Kraft Card-stock & used up some scrap papers off my paper mountain, that's now sorted out, as well as some sentiments from Craftwork Cards.

Finally this is a set of 6 cards I made using a little Papermainia kit I found in the Range for £4. There was 2 pages of die cuts 3 sheets of peel off's and 6 sheets of 6x6 paper. I added some DCWV Latte card-stock and used some scalloped edged card blanks, a fave of mine at the mo! I love the little bird cages on these ans the colours too.

Hope you all well & enjoying the weather & looking forward to the Royal Wedding on Friday! I know I am! Got my bunting & sausage rolls ready as well as a bottle of Champagne to toast Prince William and Kate Middleton's happy union. Take care every one!

As long as its got stuff on it & your doing something with said stuff then were interested! And we can come over for a snoop and meet you! Sounds grand eh! So what you waiting for!

So as you can see form my desk this week I have had two events so to speak! First one tidying all the scrap paper from a huge ever growing pile that was about to engulf me! Thank the gods its finally sorted out! Next actually first pic I am trying out the Pro markers as I have not used them a lot .I have used the Free stamps from "Pink Petticoat" that came with issue 83 Of Simply Cards And Papercraft Magazine. Just been coloring the images in and die cutting them out with various Nestabilities Lables. Nice relaxing coloring inn something I haven't done for some time! Finish off with some Distress Ink pads in Pumice Stone, Weathered Wood & Bundles Sage used a blending tool to give it some more depth. Well off to look at some of yours now! Keep well everyone, take care!

Whats On Your Work Wednesday 96 &...I won something!!!

Hello everyone! Heres the two cards that I made for my Mum & my future Mum in law for Mothers Day! If you are lucky enough to still be able to celebrate Mothers Day with yours I hope you had a great day & for all of you who are a Mum's I hope you were spoiled rotten! :) I decided to go with a couple of Vintage inspired images. They were both from a CD in the book "Instant Memories, Birthdays, Ready to use scrapbook pages" by Sandra Everson. Basically you just print them out to use or you can make up & print out entire scrapbook pages. I have used it quite a bit, theres some really nice pics on there! I used some DCWV papers & bits n bobs from my stash and ended up with two cards I quite liked!

For the insides of both cards I used some die cuts as well as some Paula Pascual stamps, and a Mothers day sentiment stamp from Create & Craft. The first die cut is a Nestabilities Lables 1 and the second card is one of the New Go Kreate XL Frilly Frames 3 I love the shape of this die. I am going to invest in more the Go Kreate dies as I am really impressed with the way they cut & emboss and I also think there a good price too! The flowers are rub ons from a La Blanch kit from QVC.

And finally I won some blog candy from Dawn Bibbys Blog!!! I never win anything, so I was very very surprised when I won this! Its a demo tag by Tim Holtz....and an ACT he made live on air last year when he came to QVC. Fancy that eh....I own something HE made! Cant quite believe it. I also received a signed card from Dawn herself & her latest CD "Stamps & Stickers" which is crammed full of how to's and craft tips & tricks, ideas and projects! It made my day! And I think was very generous of her as this an extra and was not part of the candy on offer! Lovely eh!

If your reading this and are not quite sure what is "Whats On Your Workdesk Wednesday" then hop over to Julias Blog http://stamping-ground.blogspot.com and go and find out what its all about! Have a great week everyone!
