Recent Cards!

Hello! Heres a few recent creations. Been using all sorts papers & embellishments of late, cant say I have a certain style really! I sort of do what takes my mood. I love the Craftwork cards papers at the mo, and Paula Pascal's stamps, they seem to fit well with every kind of style & theres every kind of stylish sentiment you ever need! Also had a moment using some early Kanban cardsock I found this week. Thers also a little creation using some Kay & co and also some Papermainia papers and a "LOVE" Prima stamp I found too. I really don't know what I have sometimes hiding away in my little craft room. I have just ordered some Pro markers so I really need to get some help using them before I post anything I make using them. But on a negative front, Slice machine went mad & I sent it back to QVC & got a refund, so I have re-ordered a newer version of the Pink one, cos you get that nice Think Pink MS+ Design Card that's helps a very good cause! All Hearts!!!

Hello! Just thought to post some of the Valentines Cards I made this year. I really enjoyed making them & used a few papers & ribbons I have been hanging on to for quite a while! I really love the "Jolie Chocolate Papers" By S.E.I. And the Cavellie &Co Stamps I used on the French style card.

I love the way these two cards came out looking Vintage thanks to Cosmo Cricket. The papers I used are from a Scrapbooking kit that I bought from QVC at christmas. The Diamond embossed heart is from the "Tim Holtz" Grungeboard collection, and the other stamped heart is a free stamp from one of the card making magazines I got this month. And the Red flocked swirl is from a Basic Gray chipboard set I had. And of course were would we be without good old "Stickles" I love it!!! cant remember were the Love stamp came from?

The last two I am posting are what are I would traditional looking cards, I used some lovely lace I had stashed away, it was really for a sewing project, but I was wanting to do something a bit diffrent, and I am pretty into flock at the moment too, so just had to try used that too! And I loved the way the embossed hearts turned out too, again another super set of free stamps that came with a monthley magazine.

Well at the moment I am mad for anything Damask! I have been making quite a few cards using some "Laura Ashley Stamps" and I have just had a small net shop and have some beautiful "Kelly Panacci" Damask stamps on the way & some Prima stash as well as some velvet rub on's from "Little Yellow Bicycle" love letters collection! Anyway hope you like what I did! Happy crafing guys!

Brrrr It's Cold!

Brrr It's Cold!!!........Yes its official, we in England have had the biggest snowfall for 18 years! It's over 8 inches in my garden. Ok so it's not hugely deep, but hey for us it's great, well maybe not great being as we have come to a complete standstill here. But more time for Crafting!!!!! Yeah!!! So here's my latest offerings.

I have used Kay & Co Papers & the Stamps are "Mindy's Flowers" from Autumn Leaves. I like the composition of the card, I think it sits well together, and I just had to use the Organza ribbon I had, the pic don't really do it justice!

This was a bit of a mix of stuff I had & thought ok what can I do? Don't know if I like it yet? But I do love the little mother of Pearl Buttons, cute eh!

This was using some Cosmo Cricket Paper I got in part of a Great kit QVC had on offer at Christmas, there was loads & loads of stuff in it, Papers, Chip Board, Stickers, Die Cuts, Two Scrapbooks, Ribbons, Brag Books to decorate & tons of other goodies yet to make! The Corners are from another kit I bought from Create & Craft it was the Victorian Cameo & Butterflies Kit. Again another great value kit, loads of card stock, stickers, boarder peel offs, Paper, a lot of stuff can be made from this kit! And also its my first use of the wonderful Sakura Pens!!! Just drew round the corners & paper, but its a lovely bit o glitz! I got the Stardust ones from "The Stamp Pad" in Greenfield, A fantastic shop with Lots & lots of wonderful crafting goodies, I must say it's the best shop I have come across in my area!

And lastly I just had to try out some of the "Coredinations" paper, its from the Nostalgia super assortment. You get two of each colour in the pack & there are 80 sheets in 40 colours great value. The stamps are from Impression Obsession "Damask Floral" and the sentiment is a HOTP stamp embossed in Bronze. I have used stickles glitter glue for the flower head. I love the dusky pink & brown tones in this card, my fave colours at the moment.

Well, that's it for now! I am heading out to the "Stitch & Creative Crafts Show" on Friday, hope to come home with some crafting goodies to try out! And maybe I will remember to take some pic's of the some of the Booth's too, although I am not promising as I get way to busy looking at the stalls & checking out all the new stuff & paper & sparkly stuff!!!!! oooooo cant wait! Sorry I am a bad blogger!!!

It has been far too long since I posted anything on here. With one thing and another in life being thrown at me of late, I dont seem to have had time or will to do much to be honest with you. I admit, I have been some what lazy to. I have made loads of cards but just not got around to posting them. However I am back!!!! And WILL be making sure I update this page at least once a week.

Hello, so how have things been with you all. I have been looking on You Tube at the some clips from the CHA show in the USA, looked great with some fab new products being launched. I love the new Slice die cutting machine, I can see me wanting one of those. I have a Cuttlebug that I love, although I must say I don't seem to use it that often at the mo. I have been in a bit of a glittery mood this past week so I have come up with these two creations.

I used some Kay & Co Papers and some from there Ancestry Range too. The chip board is Maya Road and I used Stickles Liquid Pearls. I think the Gems are from Kan Ban. I also used the Personal Impressions Stamp to do this.

I love Pink & Brown together. The papers were some I got at the Craft Show in Manchester Central in February. Theres another show on at Manchester Central on at the end of this month too, I must get saving. Its amazing how much money I get through at those places. I went to the one at Aintree in Liverpool this year and got through a fair chunk of money! Still we are all the same I suppose and there are soooooo many cool things to get. Anyhow off for my Monday House Blitz! Washing, Tidying & ooooo not fair would much rather sit in my room & get going on new projects!!! Maybe later. Take care & have a great week!

Damask Floral Stamps

Hello! Thought I would have a play with these Damask floral stamps I got while I was in Amsterdam. I think they look a bit 60's! a bit Biba maybe! Anyway I think they turned our ok.

I love the look of the H2o's and I think that the white embossing worked ok too. I really like this stamp, looks like I will be using it a lot! I also made this quick card using some of the Laura Ashley papers, plus on of the lovely tags from Craftwork Cards.

Just got things strewned around the desk trying to get something together with the die cuts & ribbons I got too on while away, hopefully I will have something to show tomorrow. Got more or less a free couple of days this week so that's a nice change. Okay of to make some lunch & a pot of tea for that added extra inspiration!! Hope your all well and if any of you who read this in the USA went to CHA, I hope I am going to see lots of photos of the products on your blogs we might get them over here eventually! Rushed!

Well its been a few busy ol days round my house! I have been sorting out a few things for the weekend as my partner and I are off to Amsterdam , continuing my Birthday Treats! I have been before and I love the place the People the sights and the shopping! :-) I have found a couple of craft shops I want to visit, of course! Maybe I will do what I did last year when I visited Monaco, I did not go for tourist souvenirs, oh no not me! I found a craft shop in a little back street & bought Christmas stamps!! Anyhow hoping to see some craft goodies we don't get here. I know that most peel offs are made by Dutch company's so maybe I will track some of them down. We fly on Friday and return Monday. I will put some pic's on here if I take any good ones.

Meanwhile, I thought I would show you a little something I did the other day. The first on is a little Thank you card using on of the Laura Ashley Stamps I got in the set, its a thank you card for my Aunt. She made me a beautiful card for my birthday! So I want to says Thanks!

The Next one I did was using the HOTP kit I bought recently. There are so many great colours of paper & embellishments in this kit I honestly cant recommend it enough. I love the muted tones!

I have just set my box to record a double dose of craft making on QVC today as its Dawn Bibby doing some creative stamping! There are shows everyday this week. I must NOT buy anything else though......... well not yet anyway my credit card company will be on the phone!!!! Oh but I did buy some Laura Ashley stuff in the sale from Craftwork Cards in Leeds. I couldn't resist as it was all such a bargain. I went for the Traditional Range of papers & embellishments & ribbons to go with the stamps I got for my birthday, I will do something with them all soon as I am back from my weekend away! Well have a good rest of the week folks & Happy 4th July to anyone from the USA who reads this! I will see you when I am back next week! Now go make something crafty!!!!!
