Black Heart!

Hello! Sorry no WOYWW 61 I missed out this week due to ....busy-ness.....seems to have been a rushed no time for me type week! Y'know sometimes things just happen that way I suppose. I have missed my Crafting fix this week, however last week I did manage to do this Black Heart card! It really was not planned, I started out by just "Trying out" The Stempelglede Grunge Hearts stamp on Clarity Stamp's coated card stock, just to see what it looked like, then I started using some of the other stamps in the pack, flourishes & a little smudgy type stamp (the purple one round the edge) And it just grew really! I bought the Roses in from my garden, David Austins "The Prince"and they were on my desk & got inspired by them a bit I suppose! Used a little alphabet stamp set for the Black Heart wording. The inkpads I used were Versafine Onyx Black for the heart & words, Anna Griffin Grey and Colour Box Cats eye Violet. I finished off the words with a blob of Rangers Glossy Accents on each letter although you cant see it very well. I smudeged over the gray ink on the heart middle too & then added Stickles to finish. NOT something I normally would do, but it just happened, a mixture of looking at the roses & loving purple I suppose!
Its cold here today & rainy! seems like summers over, ...but hey 3 weeks & I am off to the South Of France!!! Mmmm sun & rose wine & good food &......shopping!!!! I will let that though keep me going today as I wait at the bus stop in the rain! Thanks for the visit today & enjoy your day!
