My desk now for the next week at least will be focused on re-decorating my front room! I have been perusing various design books for ideas & furniture colours. I have decided on the colours for the room. Farrow & Ball Pavilion Gray & White. I have a curtain pole to paint two pole holders. I am also going to make some Voile curtains. I really would like my sofa re-covering but still deciding on that one!
The Decorator has just made a start & filled the cracks & holes in all the walls, quite a lot really! Looking forward to seeing it finished later this week.
Finally I found another wall painting I took in Nice France that advertises the famous Nice Carnival. I think the Clown has a bit of a sinister grin on his face! It was very well done & full of detail. I love the colours in it, very Cote d'Azur!
Hope everyone's keeping well & warm in this Winter style weather we are having. Its freezing today here. Thanks to everyone who visited last week & commented on my desk. I got round quite a few last week due to skyving, when I really should have been doing other things. Saw some lovely work going on & found my trip around the globe truly inspiring! If you have not joined in yet & would like to show us your desk & what's on it then nip over here to Julias Blog at; http://stamping-ground.blogspot.co.uk/
you will find out how it works & how to enter, we would love to have a peek at what your up to! Have a creative week everyone, off to peek at yours!

Well done on the cards and the not tidying up so immediately, I know it's hard for you neat freaks, but hey - you're still living and breathing. Is that blue Awning I see on some cards..ain't it lovely.
Love all the cards you made. It is important to take some time out when re-decorating - you never know it may even inspire you in your cardmaking! Regards, Anne #30

Hi Lavinia,
Oh, I love looking at decorating books!! Are you on pinterest? I have started collecting colors and living areas on different boards. Then I'll go back and see if there's a common theme. (I actually did a color post a few posts back).
Can't wait to see your finished room. It sounds like it'll be lovely.
Happy WOYWW
